As a full day, we are going to maximize priorities and see where we can get more targets since the whole area is a big loop. This birding road varies from 4600m to the lowest part at 1000m. beautiful road covered along with different vegetation such us Puna Bogs, Paramo, Polylepis and Scrub rocky forest.

Endemic Birds like Black-necked Woodpecker, Rusty Bellied Brush-Finch, Bronze Tailed Comet, Great Inca Finch, White Bellied Cinclodes, Dark Winged Miner and having a lucky day would be White Checked Cotinga & the rare Rufous Breasted Warbling Finch.

DAY 1 LIMA – SANTA EULALIA
As a full-day trip has to be done quite early in order to be in the right place at the right time, we pick you up from your Hotel before the Lima traffic goes mad. The temperature here can be variable from hot to cold, sometimes a little windy. But most of the time has good weather. Some more birds along this road are; Gian Coot, the rare Diademed Sandpiper Plover, Gray Breasted and Rufous Bellied Seedsnipe, Puna Snipe, Puna Ground Tyrant, Canyon Canastero, Great Inca Finch, Black Metaltail, Pied crested tit tyrant, Black Necked Woodpecker, Peruvian Sheartail and many others while picking Santa eulalia birding and santa eulalia birds.
Santa Eulalia birding is a great bird spot since this dirt road takes you from the dry srub vegetation found at 1000m. to over 4500m at the west slope heading the central andes, so all this mixture of particular habitats and elevations will give you a great variety of endemic and range restricted bird species like White Cheecked Cotinga, White Bellied Cinclodes, Bronze Tailed Comet, Olivaceous Thornbill, Dark Winged Miner, Junin Canastero, White Fronted Ground Tyrant, Peruvian Pygmy Owl and many others that can be possible along Santa Eulalia birding.
