DAY 02.- COLLPAS LODGE TRAILS – MACAWS CLAY LICK
Early visit to the famous Macaws Clay Lick, where we could see manyo f the parrots, Parakeets plus the amazing and colorful Macaws. On the way to this beautiful bird spot and the way back we could also get many wáter birds, a big family of Capibaras, Caimans and nice family of Red Howler Monkeys right by the river. After this great morning we headed back to the lodge for Lunch and later another walk into the forest for more birds getting not only birds, this time we got Capucin Monkeys while birding in forest interior. So at the end we had a great bird list plus good number of monkeys.

DAY 03.- CANOPY TOWER – GADUA BAMBOO – TERRA FIRME TRAILS
This time our birding was around the lodge trails, birding Gadua Bamboo for the Bamboo specialties plus Terra Firme birds. Around this property we cpould also visit a nice tower over 50m height where we could some Canopy birds and at the asme time have a nice jungle overview, this forest have nice forest variety giving you the chance of get many birds like Manakins, Antbirds and Antwrens.
From the Tower while birding we could also see more monkeys jumping around and macaws flying over, all these great things while birdwatching peru.

DAY 04.- TERRA FIRME – VARZEA FOREST – QUIROZ LAGOON
We had a cloudy and rainy morning bute ven with this weather we went out to the other side of the river where we had a nice walk through Varzea forest, this forest gave us new birds for our list and also a nice wáter spot for the special HOATZIN. Rain did not let us bird the way we wanted but at least we could get some cool birds around.

DAY 05.- COLLPAS LODGE – PUERTO MALDONADO – EL TRIUNFO ROAD
Early departure from the very cool Collpas lodge, where we spent great and most of Our time at Tambopata Reserve. This time we went back to Puerto Maldonado town and visited a birdy road called el triunfo but this morning was not the best since much of the day was raining and we just got few birds late in the afternoon.

DAY 06. – PUERTO MALDONADO – SANDOVAL LAKE – PARADISE LODGE
We began early with a light rain and cloudy sky but we could manage to see some good birds at these two beautiful places and at the same time enjoy the great view of Sandoval Lake plus the bird variety around this bird spot. We went for a nice canoe ride around the lake spotting monkeys and Black Caimans that inhabit this lovely spot, then after having great time and birds we walked back to the lodge where went for Owling and extra birds.

DAY 07.- PARADISE LODGE – CANOPY WALK – TRAILS – PUERTO MALDONADO – CUSCO
We had a very nice morning at the Canopy walk again getting some new and better views of many birds we had seen before, this time a lot closer. Later that day we also visited a little farm with extra birds to fill the bird list.

DAY 08.- CUSCO – LIMATAMBO – CHONTA & CONDORS
This extra day was given to the special Condor spot at Chonta Village, located by the great Apurimac River. 3 hours driving to finally had a 30 minutes walk and ge tour first Condor flying over our heads on the sky, this big bird was our target and of course some more specialties around and endemcis to fill the bird list. Cristina, our bird girl in the group spotted a cool Gray Deer on the way back.

The endemics Rusty Fronted Canastero, Creamy Crested Spinetail & Chesnut Breasted Mountain Finch. Some more birds like Mountain Velvetbreast, White Winged Black Tyrant, Rufous Collared Sparrow, Great Thrush, White Browed chat Tyrant, Blue and Yellow Tanager, Andean Swift, Brown Bellied Swallow, Rufous Naped Ground Tyrant, Band Tailed Seedeater, Black Tailed Trainbearer, Andean Condor, Yellow Billed Tit Tyrant, Red Crested Cotinga, Golden Billed Saltator.

DAY 09.- CUSCO – HUAMBUTIO – PAUCARTAMBO TOWN – MANU ROAD
Another birdwatching peru day driving to look for the endemic Hummingbird found on the way to Manu Road, to get this specialty took us some time around scrub forest where we could also get some other birds around. Then some more bird stops on the way to finally arrive to the main Manu Road and look for the special cloud forest mix species flocks where you can easily increase your bird list. Our afternoon was not the best since rain and fog covered the forest and we could not bird anymore, but we were lucky enough to get a good number of birds.

DAY 10.- PAUCARTAMBO – ACJANACO – TUNNELS – ROCOTAL – MANU ROAD.
Early departure to the main Manu Road gate, where We stop for some birds at Paramo forest and got some cool birds to begin Our day. Right after this short walk we stop for a coffee break at a local restaurant at 3400m. then we continued moving down the road to get the main targets, later that day some rain did not let us finish with the lower part and we decided to drive back and end up the day with 03 Mountain Toucans right in front of Us.

DAY 11.- PAUCARATAMBO TOWN – ROCOTAL – HUACARPAY LAKE – BACK TO CUSCO
Our last birding day ata Manu Road and this time we went straight to Rocotal, that is located at 2200 and we could get some birds that we were missing at this elevation. The morning was good with some small bird flocks letting us picked up some special missing bird and this way increase the bird list. Right after this we ride back to Paucartambo town where we had lunch and continue with Huacarpay lake where could get some extra birds around the reeds and this nice looking lake at 3300m. this was pretty much our last birding on the way back to Cusco to then take my guest to their hotel.
