DAY 1 – CUSCO – WAYQECHA LODGE

We early pick you up from your Hotel to then go to our Manu National Park adventure, private car along this amazing route will give us the chance to do perfect stops at the right places, in order to learn and get the best Manu experience. To get to our first lodge will takes us the whole morning since there are nice arqueological sites on the way plus very pretty colonial towns where we can spend good time learning about the colonial time. On the way we also have the chance to stop at the main entrance or the Manu park ranger station, this mandatory stop has a very cool view of the elfin forest, the type of forest that covers the famous Manu National Park at 3800m. After having nice pictures, nice time learning and visiting colonial towns We arrive to our fancy lodge with very great views of the mountains and valleys of Manu National Park. After being settled, We go out for a nice walk and visit the Lodge’s Canopy Walways, where we can be close to the forest canopy and have a different view. This is also good chance to see Orchids and birds around. Dinner at the lodge.

DAY 2 WAYQECHA LODGE – COCK OF THE ROCK LODGE

Early breakfast at the lodge to then continue with our Manu adventure, we jump in the car and start driving down the mountains with very good forested canyons along the road. On the way we have the chance fo finding the mountain monkeys like Gray Woolly Monkeys and the famous birds Cock of the rock, a very colorful bird that have been considered our national bird. On our way down to the next lodge we also have the chance of finding different type do vegetation since the levation gets lower, meaning that gets warmer and this change bring more butterflies, birds and animals activity. We arrive to the lodge for our lunch to then go out again and this time with flash light or torches in order to catch the sunset from a very nice mirador or overview. Then slowly we move back to the lodge looking for night time animals like snakes, owl or oposums. Dinner at the lodge

DAY 3 COCK OF THE ROCK LODGE – BACK TO CUSCO

Early breakfast at the lodge to enjoy the animals feeders where we can see monkeys like Large Headed Capucin, Tayra (animal related to river otters), Brown Agouti and many hummingbirds around plus beautiful butterfies. After this lovely breakfast and watching animals, We take the car back to Cusco with more manu road stops along the way until we drop you off at your hotel in Cusco.
