THE MONKEY JUNGLE TOUR – 04 DAYS/03 NIGHTS
The only nature spot known to guarantee at least 09 monkey species such as red howler monkey, black faced spider monkey, toppin’s titi monkey, weddle’s saddle back tamarin, night owl monkey, white fronted brown capucin, large headed brown capucin, bolivian black capped squirrel monkey and the nice looking emperor tamarin monkey.
This is a recommended tambopata tour since the lodge and the area you visit is isolated and its location far from the other tambopata destinations makes it the best for monkeys and nature in general.

DAY 1
We pick you up from the airport to then take you for 40 minutes car drive to Laberinto Town, a place where we take a local water taxi that will take us for 03 hours along the biggest river in the región, the well known Madre de Dios River. 03 hours on this boat having cool views of local people doing local activities like gold mining, Fishing and Farming. Once we arrive to the lodge we will be pretty much in our jungle adventure tour since the whole bilding is located right by the river with a great view of it. According to our arrival we will go out for our first nature walk and get in contact with the enviroment. This first walk will give us the chance to learn about jungle and to look for animals around. This animals includes Agouties, Bush Turkish and of course Monkeys. Dinner at the lodge.
DAY 2
Nice breakfast at the lodge to then go out for another nature walk and animals. But this time our jungle walk will take us to a nice laggon where we have the chance of taking a paddle boat and move slowly around looking for the famous and shy Giant River Otters. This morning walk and boat trip will give us very good learning and nice pictures from animals we will find on the way. After lunch we will have an extra resting time before our next activity. In the afternoon we go out again for another rainforest walk, but this time we will bring with us Torches or Flash lights. The idea is to go for all the different trails searching for animals and arrive to a very nice area with a very nice view of huge swamps known as Aguajales. The view at this spot is just amazing since the view you get is from a nice angle giving you nice pictures opportunities. After this we slowly walk back using our lights looking for night time animals like Tarantulas, Tree Frogs, Snakes and why not the night monkeys. Dinner at the lodge.
DAY 3
Breakfast at the lodge to then go out for another jungle walk but this time will be visiting a different lagoon with different vegetation around where we have the chance of fishing for Piranhas and explore this Little but cool lagoon. After visiting this small lagoon we walk back taking different trails where we have great chances for spider monkeys to then head to the lodge for lun. Late in the afternoon we go out again to have a trully night walk experience searching for Little creatures that are not spotted during the day and these animals are Tarantulas, regular spiders, Tree Frogs, Tree Snakes, Night Monkeys and more. Dinner at the lodge.
DAY 4
Relax morning and breakafast to the take the 03 hours local taxi back to Laberinto town and the 01 hour car to Puerto Maldonado, where we can see a bit of this town and have our last meal together facing the majestic Madre de Dios River, to then take you to the airport. NOTE: Make sure you take the early flight at your first day and the late one at your last day.
